Climate
Marked by four distinct seasons, Southeast Bulgaria including Sozopol, enjoys a generally favorable climate that is one of the region’s best features. Summers are typically hot and dry, but rarely oppressive, with moderate humidity. The sea breeze in summers makes the hot and dry weather very enjoyable. Spring and fall are warm and moderate and still attract who prefer a quieter beach experience. The season starts in late May and lasts up to early October. Winters are cold but not bitterly so.
