The third edition of the prestigious Bulgaria F1 Futures Santa Marina Cup with 15 000 USD prize money will be hosted at the Santa Marina Holiday Village Tennis Centre starting May 6 through May 14, 2017 . The Santa Marina Cup tournament is part both of the ITF Calendar and the Santa Marina Tennis Centre 2017 programme, where another 13 major international and national tennis events are coming up through the end of the outdoor season. 

Dimitar Kuzmanov and Gabriel Donev will play for Bulgaria at this year’s edition of the tournament, joining in directly the main draw, while several other prominent Bulgarian players will be qualifying in the first phase of the competition. Over 70 players from 20 countries have enrolled for the acceptance list. 

Qualifications will take part during May 6-8, while the main draw comprising 32 players is scheduled for May 9-14, 2017. The singles final will be played on May 14, 2017 and the doubles competiiton is scheduled for the period May 8-12, 2017. Access to all courts for the audience during the Santa Marina Cup will be free. 

The 2017 Outdoor Season is being organized with the kind cooperation of the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, the Municipality of Sozopol, Tennis24.bg, Angel’s Estate, Isostar, 17+, the National Tennis League and the Interactive Tennis League.

With a modern facility of 8 hard-surface GreenSet courts with a fantastic sea view, the Santa Marina tennis resort has already marked two previous successful seasons of high-ranked tennis events, hosting more than 20 prestigious national and international tournaments and welcoming over 350 players from 35 countries on several continents.
